Daisy and Leaf Thank You Alternate Card for Paper Pumpkin February 2018

Having some more fun with this Wildflower Wishes Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set/Kit by Stampin Up. This is my first Paper Pumpkin Kit I have received in the mail, and it is so much fun.
I am a married, mother to two boys lady that is living in the Midwest, USA. I have come to realize that life is precious, even though I thought I already knew that! Thank you for visiting my blogs. I am a Christian, and love Jesus with all my heart. I know that without God, there would be no life. I am so thankful for what I have been given. Thank you God. :) I was born and raised in Southern California, and will always love that place. :) I like to visit when I can, and suspect its part of the reason I love oceans and sunsets and bodies of water to the degree I do. Wildflower Wishes Alternate Paper Pumpkin Card - February 2018

Here is one of my three designs so far for an alternate card for my first every Paper Pumpkin Shipment. It is the Wildflower Wishes set, and I just love it! I take a pretty drastic turn from what is recommended with the big and bold lettering that comes with the kit (which I like a lot, by the way!) and gives a totally different look. Keep an eye out for the other two as well, with more to come! I keep the garden green color a lot and add in a few others. This one is Elegant Eggplant for the ink color, linen thread, and some designer paper. Very simple, but I am happy with it! Though I have many hobbies, I am currently a Stampin' Up Hobby Demonstrator in particular and I am loving it. (I do have my "9-5" job as well, but I love to stamp in the side!) I have decided to share my designs here as well as cards I have tried that others have designed. I also plan on sharing cards I have CASE'd, because I love to see others designs as well. Butterflies and Flowers Handmade Stamped Card - Stampin Up Retired Stamps

This is a card I made years ago, actually, and I came across it the other day. I needed a card to send to a friend and used to keep these for ideas. Sharing it here on my rubberstamping blog so that I can always keep the idea and also send the card! My friend Diane and I came up with some fun ideas using this stamp set. I loved the pinks, purple and green colors. The pink is almost more of a blush or peach color. Really fun, altogether. Simple layering, and paper tearing, and two step stamping.

I finally made the Stampin Up Plunge! That, and my Rubber Stamping Story

Good afternoon. Last night I finally signed up with Stampin Up! I have been with Stampin Up in some form or fashion, off and on, for over 21 years. After much deliberation, and I mean much..... I have decided to go ahead and become a hobby demonstrator for Stampin Up! They made it easy in at least one aspect for me, but there are probably more reasons. During Sale-a-bration this year, we could sign up and get some amazing deals. My reason though goes deeper than this. I have found that in the face pace of life, there is this one curious thing has remained very static throughout. That is, sending cards to people online or paper cards through the mail. Seriously, no matter how bad or crazy or tiring life can be at times, that "duty" or desire never seems to go away.
